From Friends With Benefits to Married With Benefits

We didn’t set out to start a podcast or a community. Honestly, we tried to avoid it.

But the truth is, we believe God called us to share our story, not for the spotlight, but to build something real in a world where so many feel alone.

Our story is unique. We started as friends with benefits, and that beginning gives us a perspective most people haven’t heard before. Along the way, we’ve discovered that the best relationships are built on honesty, laughter, and a whole lot of growth. We bring all of that into Married With Benefits, mixing playfulness with depth, sharing the tough stuff and the joyful stuff, and always keeping it authentic and unpolished in the best way.

We started this podcast because too many couples feel alone in their struggles. Nobody wants to admit what they’re going through, and most people are afraid to tell the truth — even in their own homes. We’re here to change that.

WE DON’T PREACH, PRETEND, OR PERFORM.

We talk real — communication, marriage after kids, identity shifts, faith, intimacy, forgiveness, family pressure — all of it. If you’re tired of surface-level relationship talk, you’re in the right place.

We also believe in turning conversation into action. That’s why we created Events With Benefits, cause-driven gatherings designed to give back and make a tangible impact. Where you’re listening online, showing up in person or joining us in giving back, you’re part of a bigger story built on love, faith, and purpose.

MARRIED WITH BENEFITS IS MORE THAN JUST A PODCAST.

IT’S A COMMUNITY BUILT ON TRUTH, AND WE’RE JUST GETTING STARTED.

MEET BRITTANY

What’s one lesson marriage has taught you that surprised you most?

That my way isn’t always best, and there’s so much value in asking for help.

What’s your guilty-pleasure binge watch?

That my way isn’t always best, and there’s so much value in asking for help.

What’s a skill or hobby you secretly wish you were better at?

Being Social. I definitely feel socially awkward and most people brush it off as me being funny when I’m actually serious and just being myself lol.

If you could host a dream guest on the podcast, who would it be?

Michelle Obama, Baylen Dupree, and Dan Levy

MEET COLBY

What’s one lesson marriage has taught you that surprised you most?

Marriage has taught me that vulnerability is powerful. It’s courage. It’s choosing to be seen, choosing truth over ego, and choosing connection over comfort.

What’s your guilty-pleasure binge watch?

Love is Blind. I don’t choose chaos–chaos chooses me, and it apparently streams on Netflix. It’s like a car crash I just can’t look away from.

What’s a skill or hobby you secretly wish you were better at?

I love dancing. Once upon a time, I had all the moves. Now I have…enthusiasm. My family doesn’t believe in me, but that just fuels my comeback. The living room is my stage and I’m taking all challengers.

If you could host a dream guest on the podcast, who would it be?

Brittany and I from a decade ago. That might be the realest episode ever. No filters, no ego, just raw growth staring itself in the face.
